The CEO has her own personal success story about making better choices. Our CEO Mary Benson knows the horrors of addiction due to her own personal experiences. She bravely shares that her father and two sisters died of alcoholism, also that she has lost a child as a result of street violence. She saw the devastating effects that alcoholism and drug addiction had on her children, and since then, she made it her life’s mission to break the generational curse. Today, Mary Benson is a Substance Abuse Counselor who has worked in the field of addictions for over twenty years. She founded The Sober Living Place with the hope to prevent family tragedies similar to hers from happening. There are no words, but help is available.
